Ingredients
- 52.5 ml Cognac
- 7.5 ml Maraschino liqueur
- 5 ml Curaçao
- 15 ml Lemon juice
- 5 ml Simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Preparation
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a sugar-rimmed coupe glass lined with a spiral of lemon peel.

Origin story
The Brandy Crusta dates back to the mid-19th century and is attributed to the famed bartender Jerry Thomas, who included it in his 1862 cocktail book, making it one of the earliest known cocktails featuring brandy.
