Ingredients

  • 60 ml Apple brandy
  • 22.5 ml Lemon juice
  • 22.5 ml Grenadine
  • Garnish Lemon twist

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.

The Jack Rose cocktail dates back to the early 1900s and is believed to have originated in the United States. It was named after a notorious gambler, Jack Rose, and became popular during Prohibition.
