Ingredients
- 1 whole Strawberry
- 45 ml Bourbon e.g. Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace, Woodford Reserve
- 22.5 ml Lemon juice
- 15 ml Sugar syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 60 ml Ginger beer
- Garnish Strawberry
Preparation
- Muddle the strawberry in the shaker.
- Add the bourbon, lemon juice, sugar syrup and bitters, then shake with ice.
- Strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Don't know how? Pour the drink through a strainer (or the built-in strainer on your shaker) to catch the ice and any solids.
- Top with ginger beer.
