Served in a highball glass
Ingredients
- 30 ml Gin
- 30 ml Brandy
- 15 ml Lime juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 120 ml Ginger beer
Preparation
Shake spirits, lime and bitters with ice. Strain into a highball glass over ice and top with ginger beer.

Mint sprig, orange slice
Origin story
The Suffering Bastard cocktail is said to have originated in Cairo during World War II, created to help soldiers cope with the heat. It has since become a classic, known for its refreshing and revitalizing qualities.
